24 started out great, but then turned into a slow time filler of a show. Everything was good up to the Nuke going off, then it went off course. Wow an EMP blast was able to take down a news chopper, but not Jack Bauer’s cell phone or any cell tower around that area. And of course the circuit were not busy with everyone CALLING ABOUT A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!
Ooh, the evil, scheming bald dude from season 5 turns out to be Jack’s brother. Such potential for his character (He had the power to make the president of the US kill himself) and they just killed him off.
After 2 years of Chinese torture, Jack seemed shaky and unhinged. But NOOO, he goes back to the same Jack Bauer mode. And does anyone eat in 24 anymore?? After 2 years Jack only gets a shower & a shave, then it’s off to be killed by the terrorist. Not even a last meal? Granted he had breakfast courtesy of a terrorist’s neck, but come on give the man a power bar or something.
And talk about downgrade of supporting cast. Killed Curtis. Made Chole into a neurotic babysitter. Made Morris a lamer. Brought back Milo, who was lame in the first season (whole hour and he couldn’t trace a cell phone signal??) Logan as a born again Christian?!
Chole needs to go back to being a neurotic workaholic. Kill Milo. They should’ve made Morris a mole, which would’ve been much more interesting than an alcoholic coward. (come on, he acts too smart to play such a lame role) And bring back Kim Bauer (yeah her character suck, but still nice to look at)
24 needs to get it’s act together and stop wasting time on this useless crap. I’m missing Heroes to see this filler crap and it’s pissing me off. I’ll be very disappointed if 3 more nukes doesn’t go off.
