What: Sequel to gory torture flick
Who: No one worth mentioning.
How: Ok, first off this was promised to out do the first one in terms of gore & horror (tall order), but ultimately doesn’t deliver. In fact I found less gore & horror (and no naked hot chicks, wtf?) The movie follows the same formula, picking up were the first one left off. Using three girls instead of three guys. Same look & similar archetype (Brunette leader, blonde sidekick & weird tag along) The movie is split between them (and their impending doom), the Hunting club and the Americans weekend torturer. The movie lost the certain feeling of dread that the first one had (cause you kinda know what’s gonna happen) and it doesn’t even have to amount of gory imagery like the first. Interesting bit was that the torture factory had upgraded their security so virtually no chance of repeating what happened in the first movie (which they happily illustrated with the first escape attempt)
The kids were back, but not as dangerous as the first (still little pricks though) The cast was bland also. The two torturer are from Desperate Housewives, lol. I found it very hard to take them seriously. And the horror part was choosing the Welcome to the Dollhouse chick to be buck ass naked (vomits in mouth) None of the other 2 were nude.
The ending was interesting and pretty god damn x-rated (wonder if they’ll edit it out). Yes this movie didn’t live up to the hype or outdo the first one. They only hinted at the Hunting club, which I assume will be the focal point for a third movie (it’s all about trilogy now) This was still a workprint (with noticeable blurred out timecode and unfinished cgi) and rumored to have missing gore scenes due to incomplete cgi (which I don’t think is true). Still a very clear bootleg to watch.

I actually heard that he wasn’t going to make a 3rd one! Something about not wanting to be a disappointment like Spiderman 3? So upsetting =(

I want to see Hostel 3 with the guys from Saved by the Bell (Zack, AC & Screech) I’m willing to bet Screech will do like Matarazzo and be the only naked one on screen, lol.
