90’s Ice Skating Spoof

The Good:

Will Ferrell. The commitment to his character is incredible. I don’t understand how he can keep a straight face doing his character(s)

The Cast. Wow, they really picked a good cast based on their previous works. Craig T. Nelson as the coach (he had a TV show named Coach) Jenna Fischer, who plays mousy Pam on The Office. Those are just examples of how awesome the casting was.

Homoerotic Humor. Just the right amount not to make you go, ewwwww.

The Bad:

Productions. It looks like a low budget film, very low budget.

Wire Work. You can tell every time a wire was used. No budget to hire the Mr. Yuen?

If you were a child of the 90’s and have watch some of the skating events during the Olympics, you should enjoy this movie.
